The season of Advent challenges us to live in the tension of faithfully following a victorious Jesus in a still-broken world. We wait with faith and hope, even as we lament the pain and suffering around us. We look ahead to the restoration of humanity, even as we engage with the real and present needs of today. As such, our waiting requires imagination.
